Hi,

I was initially enraged by this book because the first two chapters
perpetuate all the worst myths about medieval and renaissance fencing, myths
that I thought we'd gone beyond. I wrote a review on Amazon while I was
feeling grumpy. I later went back and wrote a second review because the
sections on modern fencing are quite entertaining and informative. As I said
at the end of that review, like the little girl in the rhyme, when it's
good, it's very, very good, but when it's bad it's horrid.

Cheers
Steve
