There are several plans in effect in Montogemery County, when Trenton Rd. is to be re-done, like Tiny Town, it is also supposed to have bike lanes.

That is fantastic!  Maybe I can start commuting to work (Fort Campbell) when they finish the eastern half sometime in 2012!

Seriously, though.  What a terrific effort and a feather in the community's cap.  I realize I am new to this group, but am very excited by this news.

Any hope of passing some local legislation that requires all newly constructed roads of a certain size to have designated bicycle lanes?  I am getting ready to move off Trenton and that road looks like a bike death trap during rush hour.  Oh well, I'll drive to Tinseltown.

Thanks again for the effort and put out the word if you need additional voices for a little bicycle activism.

I was told earlier today that Tiny Town Rd. has become Clarksville's
first road with a bike lane. That includes signs and painted road
markers. Congrats to Larry and Jim as they were the main guys who got
this project pushed through. Lawrence Mize
