If you are lucky enough to have a ticket for Monday you should be aware
that several overland train lines coming into London are due to be
closed for engineering work on the bank holiday. This affects Essex
lines for sure but there may be others. Any ideas for pubs in walking
distance from Wembley ??
Biggest game in years, thought I'd send a revival post.....

Burnley pubs are on the official site, under the travel advice section.

There are a few pubs along the High Street designated as Burnley pubs by the
Police....The Bear, The Greyhound, JJ Moons, Speakeasy and Thirsty Eddies....
Also the Norfolk Arms near Wembly North tube station...

Just think, this board started up shortly after the "Plymouth game" when
we narrowly avoided relegation to Division 3...Frank Teasedale was still
Chairman...but Barry Kilby was soon to take over, Stan had just taken
over as Manager and really we haven't looked back since!

reason I cannot make it to Wembley this time . I am sure after a long lapse of
time Burnley can make it to the Premiership . They have the required experienced
squad and mingled the up-and -coming youngsters ,Burnley will again be a great
club as in the years 1950s and 1960s .
