Another candidate to be considered is ex claret Brian Laws. Experienced,
articulate and he has managed to get Scunthorpe near the top of division one
with crowds of about three thousand. Oh, and the atmosphere at Glandford
Park is ten times better than at the Turf.

Maybe Cotts is building for the future. He has signed loads of division one
players and hey presto, we play like a first division side. Looking on the
bright side, they should be good enough to keep us in div 1 next season.

Can anyone tell me why Tony Grant and Jean Louis Valois were released at the
end of last season? Are they still available?
