The working party involved in looking to introduce a Supporters Trust at Burnley
have today issued the following press release.

OPEN YOUR EYES TO A BRAND NEW WAY THAT YOU INTERACT WITH YOUR FOOTBALL CLUB

An open meeting is planned to highlight the advantages of a Supporters' Trust at
Burnley Football Club.

Run by the fans for the fans, Supporters' Trusts are changing the way that
football fans and football clubs communicate with one another. Positive steps
have already been taken with the establishment of over 100 Trusts at clubs in
England, Wales and Scotland. This is a nationwide initiative that operates with
the help of the government-funded Supporters Direct organisation.

The time has now come to hear how all of us can join together to represent the
interests of all Burnley fans, as well as enabling us to help the club that we
support. This is a unique way for fans of all ages to get involved, so spread
the word - it is important for as many people as possible to come along and
discover just how this initiative can benefit our club and its supporters.

(Full details of the meeting will be announced on the weekend of the Preston
game via the matchday programme, web sites and local media.)
