Tony - you are probably aware that similar supporters trusts have put forward
resolutions to shareholder meetings when they became concerned that management
was not doing all it could for support/shareholders - eg. Celtic, Man Utd,
Newcastle. I
have been to a number of football plc meetings in a professional capacity - the
Newcastle meeting a couple of seasons ago demonstrated that the trust can be
rendered powerless to effect change at a club using current company law
We are talking about a different scale of club I know but I look forward to
seeing the
trust succeed.
