the best team never to play   Message List

So England once again are close but no cigar.

But of course there is one country that almost certainly could field the
best national team by far in the world, but yet has never even entered the
World Cup!

Had this team entered when it had the chance in 1950, then quite possibly it
would have won every single world cup ever since, and some of its sides over
the years would have been so unbelievably stunning that they would have made
Brazil 1970 look like Yeovil Town reserves!

But the country in question actually refuses to play a single game!

I'm talking about the UK of course.

Please FIFA, do us all a favour and insist that the UK can only enter the
one team it is entitled to from now on.

We'd get to win the World Cup every time, and even enter the Olympics at
long last!
