Nice to see Spurs starting to spend money big style these days .... only
last night one of their fans parted with a hundred quid in my direction
having unwisely backed Italy to beat France (OK, the odds of 100/1 were
agreed as the pub TV announced 4 minutes of injury time...)
Talking of which I note that Ladbrokes are giving the clarets 33/1 to win
Div 1, whereas the B*******ds chances are rated at 3/1.
What? Are they ten times better than us?? Get yer money out!
