Any predictions for what will happen to wrestling in 2005? I have a
few.

-Unfortunately, I predict that TNA will shut down by June. They are
losing too much money and they have already been given the task of
turning a profit by March (I think the contracts of Nash, Hall, and
DDP help make that impossible, as well as their crappy tv timeslot).

-John Cena will win the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania! Or else he
had better, it is really annoying how WWE never seems to want to
elevate people when they get the chance. It is always "He isn't
ready" or "hasn't paid his dues." They need to get over this
philosophy because they are sinking fast and they NEED new top stars
that the fans actually WANT to see.

-Ric Flair will finally retire from the ring for good.

-Ring of Honor is going to become bigger than anyone expected. I
also predict CM Punk will win the ROH title from Austin Aries, which
will renew a feud against Samoa Joe (since Punk never beat Joe for
the title).

-Paul London will become a bigger star than anyone in WWE had in
mind. It is only a matter of time, if you ever watch London's
matches on Velocity, you'll see that London comes out to virtually
no reaction, but by the end of his match he has the crowd in his
hands.
