It's PPV time again! This is fun, because Bad Blood is a Raw
production, I don't have to wait to watch Smackdown to put up my
predictions. I was nervous about how a Raw only show would be set up
(seeing as the production values on Raw have gone down considerably)
but it seems as if we might just have a solid card.
HELL IN A CELL for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: Triple H (c) vs Kevin Nash
Who always wins? Triple H. When is the only time he loses on PPV? To
his friends. Who is Triple H's friend? Kevin Nash! Hmmm... there is
definitly a Triple H/Goldberg feud on the horizon. However, they
both hate each over backstage as well, and the WWE will probably
want the title on Goldberg. This may sound crazy but I'm starting to
get a feeling in my gut that Nash is going to beat Triple H, to
become a transistional champion (a'la Big Show last fall). Mick
Foley will get payback on Triple H and cost him the title which will
result in them being at eachover's throats for a little while.
Predicted Winner: Kevin Nash
Desired Winner: Foley calls a no contest and makes the title vacant.
Goldberg vs Chris Jericho
Oh, there is no doubt in my mind that Goldberg is going to win this
one. Jericho will give him a good fight, and hopefully will attack
Goldberg somehow afterwards. Either that, or Jericho will just put
Goldberg over so he looks good when he goes after that World
Championship.
Predicted Winner: Goldberg
Desired Winner: Chris Jericho
Intercontinental Championship: Christain (c) vs Booker T
This is probably going to be one of the better matches of the night.
Why? Because I have no clue who will win this one! I have no way to
even begin to choose a more likely winner! Both of these guys are
evenly matched going into this PPV and just because Bad Blood is in
Booker's home town doesn't necesarily mean that Booker is going
over. That never worked out too good for the Hardy Boyz (they lost a
TLC match in their home town). Besides, Rey Mysterio just won the
Cruiserweight title in his hometown and Raw tends to not be as
heartwarming as Smackdown.
Predicted Winner: Christian
Desired Winner: Christian
"Heart-break Kid" Shawn Michaels vs "Nature Boy" Ric Flair
This is going to be a really good, old-fashioned match. Not the
match of the year, but there will be something special about this
one. I see HBK going over Flair.
Predicted Winner: HBK
Desired Winner: HBK
Rodney Mack and Christopher Nowinski vs The Dudley Boyz
Ahhh.... crap.... this one is going to suck. Let's hope it's a
Dudley Boyz spot fest with a quick ending.
Predicted Winners: The Dudley Boyz
Desired Winners: The Dudley Boyz
World Tag Team Championship: Rob Van Dam and Kane (c) vs La
Resistance
I see the premature push for La Resistance to continue (they are no
where near as good as Team Angle). This isn't a terrible thing
though, because if RVD and Kane lose the Tag belts, they can
actually be free to recieve REAL PUSHES! It disgusts me to see
what's become of Rob Van Dam, the WWE has really fucked up with him.
Predicted Winners: La Resistance
Desired Winners: La Resistance
Winner Gets Stacey: Test vs Scott Steiner
Ah shucks, this one is hard to call as well. If the WWE wants this
angle to continue, Test will win. If they want to end the angle, and
let Steiner and Test do nothing for the next two months, then
Steiner will win. Since this angle, while not very creative, is
giving people reasons to care about these three individuals, my
choice is clear.
Predicted Winner: Test
Desired Winner: Test
Redneck Triathalon: Steve Austin vs Eric Bischoff
No need to include Randy Orton, The Hurricane, Spike Dudley, Lance
Storm, Tommy Dreamer, Rico, Maven, 3 Minute Warning, Steven
Richards, or any of the women! Why? Because we can watch Austin and
Bischoff continue the suffering and try to out eat each over or
something stupid like that! This is just plain horrible, Austin will
win it just because he's the face.
Predicted Winner: Austin
Desired Winner: The Hurricane puts himself in the triathalon and out
does both of them.
yeah, as you can see I didn't feel like spending too much time
typing results this month. I'm looking forward to Vengeance already,
I can't wait to see what a Smackdown-only PPV will look like.
