Last night I ordered the NWA-TNA ppv for the first time since
october. Despite my family's best efforts, I enjoyed the show. The
main event was great, as AJ Styles beat Jeff Jarrett to finally win
the NWA World title. The only thing that pissed me off was that
Vince Russo had to help Styles. The second I saw Russo in the ring,
I knew that Russo was going to screw Jarrett. Why? Because Russo
thinks that no one ever sees his swerves coming but he always sets
up his swerves the exact same way so everyone can see it coming from
miles away!
I really liked that Hard 10 match between Sandman and Devon Storm.
I'm sorry that I missed Vampire Warrior last week (Gangrel). Sonny
Siaki taking the hardcore route? Might as well seeing as he was a
crappy X Champion.
Good to see Justin Credible again! Wow, he still speaks! I don't
think I heard him say a single word in the WWE other than a Heat
promo with X-Pac and Albert. He and Jerry Lynn don't like each over,
sweet!
Ouch, America's Most Wanted botched up their match against David
Young and Tracy quite a bit and the "You Fucked Up" chant was heard.
That's embarassing. Also noticed that Trinity's top came off, which
was embarassing for me because my parents and my dad's friend were
in the room, as was his young son.
D'Lo Brown looks much better now than he did in the WWE. It's
amazing how much more I like him without Theodore Long around! Julio
Dinero is great to watch (but I did catch his botched kick, it's a
shame that D'Lo bothered to sell it).
Overall, great show! Sting will be on next week and I think I'm
going to be tempted to get it for a second straight week if I'm not
working.
