OMG... Could Raw have sucked anymore...   Message List

You know it's bad when all the big good guys are getting booed. So
what if they were in Canada, this is still bad. Raw should just be
retitled NITRO. All the big names on the show are suffering. I'd say
put Rob Van Dam, Lance Storm, and Chris Jericho on Smackdown, and
then let the rest of the Raw roster continue to suffer until they
have no choice but to get it right. They'd still have talented
workers, like Shawn Michaels (even though he's past his prime) and
Test could finally get that push. Right now, I am having trouble
finding reasons to watch Raw. I love a lot of the Raw stars, but
last night was a painful reminder of why it seems like a chore to
watch Raw these days. I watch it almost because I feel like I'm
obliged to. It's sad, I miss the old days when I was practically
counting down the seconds to each WWE program. I'd seriously sit
around school all day being excited as hell because that night Raw
or Smackdown was going to be on. I'd even watch the first hour of
Nitro to get myself pumped up (sometimes I'd even watch Nitro over
Raw, depending on what was going on). Then I'd watch both Superstars
and Live Wire on the weekends and settle down with Sunday Night Heat
in the evening. When I could, I'd stay up and watch Jakked. I loved
wrestling so much and I could not get enough of it.

Now... I still love wrestling. I really do. Now... I only watch
parts of Raw, because I can't stand watching a lot of it at a time.
I really enjoy Smackdown, but whenever Hulk Hogan is appearing
weekley, his segment(s) is usually enough to get me to change the
channel and not come back. I haven't watched Heat in months. The
only show of the WWE that I usually never miss is Velocity. That's
sort of sad. I love Velocity! I love seeing Tajiri, Shannon Moore,
Brian Kendrick, Billy Kidman, FBI, Bill DeMott, Team Angle, Los
Guerreros, A-Train get to wrestle GOOD matches every week against
eachover and against some of the best independent stars around (Chad
Collyer, Matt Stryker). Then I'm in such a good mood from watching
Velocity, that I'll tune in for Confidential which usually does a
quick job of putting me to sleep.

Yeah... that's it for now.

I for one utterly and totally agree with the current state of WWE. I used to do the same thing in college when Nitro or RAW was that night, I couldn't wait to...
