I missed the first 15 minutes or so, but I think I only missed Big
Show vs Rikishi (damn, and I REALLY wanted to see that classic) and
I missed getting to see Billy Kidman win another match.
Thoughts:
OH MY GOD, BULL BUCHANAN HAD A GOOD MATCH!!! Granted, his opponent
was Eddie Guerrero (still not used to the new haircut) but Buchanan
actually seemed to pull his weight in this match and I enjoyed it.
Seems like there is an awful lot of "tweeners" on Smackdown. Benoit,
Angle, and the Guerreros can't seem to decide whether they are faces
or heels these past few months. At least now Angle is secured back
into a great heel position and Benoit is getting an excellent face
push.
I really like Team Angle! Charlie Haas put on a great effort against
Edge last night, though I don't know if it was wise to have Edge put
over Haas. Shelton Benjamin was also impressive against Benoit. I
was very happy with both matches.
Matt Hardy is awesome as version 1.0. I didn't much care for the
Shannon Moore/Bill Demott match, but I liked how it ended with Hardy
attacking Moore yet again.
A-Train vs Brock Lesnar as the main event? Well... that was an odd
choice, but I've always felt that people don't give Albert enough
credit. The match didn't really suck, though I was hoping that A-
Train would get some more offense in on Lesnar. The way the show
ended was okay for tv, but if I had been there in person I think I
would have been pissed.
That's all for now.
