PHILADELPHIA- RF Video presents Ring Of Honor made a very successful
debut in the Boston area last Saturday night to a sold out Americal
Civic Center in Wakefield, Massachusetts. ROH will return to the
Muphy Recreation Center in South Philadelphia just five blocks from

Two more matches have just been signed for the September 21st event.
Low Ki will defend the Ring Of Honor title against "The All Around
Best" Xavier. These two have a long history and both exemplify honor
and respect in what is an even match on paper. In a rematch from
ROH's first event, "The Era Of Honor Begins," Jay Briscoe will take
on The Amazing Red of the SAT. These two almost stole the show on
2/23/02 in a bout that Red won. Can Jay finally end his losing
streak on 9/21?

Already announced for the card is a grudge match as "The King Of Old
School" Steve Corino makes his ROH in ring debut to take on American
Dragon. In a bout straight from Japan's NOAH promotion, it will be
Takao Omori vs. Mike Modest. The show is headlined by an eight team
one night tag tournament with the winners becoming the first ROH tag
team champions. Already entered in the tournament are the teams of
Ikuto Hidaka & Dick Togo, Christopher Daniels & Donovan Morgan of
The Prophecy and Da Hit Squad. More teams will be announced this

Ring Of Honor made a very successful debut in the Boston area on
8/24 with over 500 fans at a sold out Americal Civic Center in
Wakefield, Massachusetts. ROH already announced a 11/16 return date
to the building and tickets are on sale now at RFVideo.com or by
calling 215-891-9404. The pay-per-view like videotape and DVD
release is also available for pre-order.

The New England crowd was one of the most vocal ROH crowds ever and
showed a great deal of appreciation and respect to the quality
action in the ring. They also seemed familiar with ROH's characters
and storylines. Everyone at ROH is ecstatic with the response and is
now pleased to call the Boston area a homebase right alongside
Philadelphia. The entire ROH crew would like to thank the crowd for
making us feel so welcome and for all the positive reviews of the
show.

The Amazing Red defeated Quiet Storm in a fast-paced bout that the
crowd loved. Red won after an infra-red and red star press. After
the bout Izzy, Dixe, Brian XL and the newest member of Special K,
Elax, attacked Red and Storm until Jose & Joel Maximo of the SAT and
Chris Divine made the save. This went immediately into the second
match that saw the Maximos and Divine defeat Special K in a bout
with too many innovative and unbelievable moves to write about. This
was just all action. After the Maximos pinned XL with the Spanish
fly, Chris Divine got on the mic and said that the SAT always get to
wrestle Low Ki at NWA TNA and while he doesn't want to break the
code of honor, he would like the opportunity to fight him. Low Ki
answered the challenge and made short work of Divine after several
brutal kicks and the dragon sleeper.

The Christopher Street Connection of Buff-E & Mase with Allison
Danger easily beat Dunn & Marcos. After the bout Allison Danger gave
Marcos a neckbreaker. However, Dunn & Marcos still insist that they
are the top tag team in ROH.

Mike Tobin & Danny Drake, The Boogie Knights, came out and ran down
Boston since they are from New York. Scoot Andrews entered the ring
and told them that no one came to hear some long promo and then he
made quick work of Tobin. Xavier, who was scheduled to face Prince
Nana but Nana couldn't make it due to illness, came out and
challenged Scoot to a rematch from the 7/27 show. Scoot accepted and
the two had a back and forth match that Xavier won after the 450.

Michael Shane scored a cheap victory over Paul London in a very well-
fought and competitive match. This quality bout ended when Shane
acted like he broke his ankle after a London dive, similar to what
happened at The Round Robin Challenge to Chris Marval. As everyone
including Texas Wrestling Academy head trainer Rudy Boy Gonzalez was
checking on him, Shane rolled up London in a small package for a
three count. After the bout Simply Luscious came out and invited
Shane to join The Prophecy. Gonzalez tried to talk him out of it.
Shane then turned down Luscious by giving her a superkick, but he
then hit Gonzalez with a superkick as well. Paul London then
returned to the ring and was attacked by both Shane and Bio-Hazard
including a Shane picture perfect elbow. We will have more on this
whole situation and why Shane did what he did in the match results
and ramifications up later this week at ROHwrestling.com.

American Dragon and Donovan Morgan battled to a time limit draw in a
pure wrestling clinic. This was a technical masterpiece. After the
bout, Dragon told Morgan he was better than The Prophecy and to
shake his hand and leave Chris Daniels behind. Morgan looked like he
was about to shake hands, but then attacked Dragon and walked out.
We haven't seen the last of this situation.

Da Hit Squad of Mafia & Monsta Mack defeated The Carnage Crew of Loc
& Devito in a barbaric and bloody Boston Massacre Match that saw the
use of barbed wire boards. That's right, there were barbed wire
boards in Ring Of Honor!!! Da Hit Squad might have won the battle,
but at the end of the night The Carnage Crew won the war as they
attacked DHS with hubcaps in an empty building.

Bio-Hazard, with Michael Shane in his corner, scored an impressive
victory over fellow TWA graduate Don Juan.

The next bout featured two of New England's top talents as Alex
Arion defeated Maverick Wild in a very even contest. ROH would like
to thank New England Championship Wrestling for all their help with
this event and you can check out these two stars in NECW. This just
proves that promotions can work together and help each other.

Strong style action came to Wakefield next as The Natural Born
Sinners of Homicide & Boogalou showed their wrestling skill against
Tony Mamaluke & James Maritato. This was a solid match and the duo
formerly known as The FBI continued to have problems cooperating.

Mark Briscoe defeated Jay Briscoe in what many are calling match of
the night. This bout that deserves match of the year consideration
saw Mark actually make his brother bleed and unmercifully work on
the cut. This match contained too many great moves to describe and
was just a tremendous wrestling match as each brother really went
all out to try to score the win. This one needs to be seen by any
true wrestling fan.

In the main event and another match of the year candidate, Low Ki
defeated AJ Styles in the first ever Ring Of Honor title defense.
This was everything that a ROH title defense should be. It was hard-
hitting, featured innovative moves as well as great wrestling and it
saw both men give their hearts and souls to the match. This is
another can't miss bout and it continues Low Ki's streak of match of
the year legendary bouts in ROH.

At the end of the night the capacity crowd was on their feet with a
standing ovation. ROH now has two homes- Boston and Philadelphia.
