With the new WWE General Managers heading up each of the WWE's key
primetime shows, it's expected that the new GMs will begin raiding
each other's rosters. This is said to happen so that the shows could
become more balanced, as it's clearly obvious that Smackdown is the
more talent loaded show.
The WWE continues to favor the brand extention, and this is the
latest idea to make sure the rosters are evened out and that it can
finally work.
It's being echoed by several in the WWE that Stephanie McMahon MAY
be
the Smackdown General Manager, but that's far from being official.
It's well documented that Vince McMahon loves his daugher's
character
and that Stephanie loves television time.
Backstage at RAW, it was being talked about that it's only a matter
of time before Bill Goldberg is brought into the WWE, too. It's said
that Eric Bischoff and Goldberg have a good working relationship and
have enjoyed working with each other for years. Whether Goldberg
actually comes to the WWE, that's a different story.
Triple H apparently lost a good deal of respect for his words on
WWE.com about how people need to step up in order to receive a push,
as posted earlier. Many wrestlers were upset at Triple H for his
houseshow comment, as his attendance at the houseshows hasn't been
up
to par lately, even before the elbow injury.
Triple H's comments about leaving the shows early rubbed wrestlers
the wrong way, insomuch that he didn't take into account the hectic
WWE travelling schedule, which has intense travel time and nights
with little sleep, let alone any free time. Also, Triple H saying
this was taken the wrong way because of the fact that he has much
better travel accommodations than most on the roster.
Also, wrestlers were mad about his work ethic comments, on how
wrestlers must put in the extra effort. What the wrestlers thought
is
that they continue to work hard, yet they have top guys protecting
their spots, politically, from ever moving up the card. Such as the
case of Chris Jericho, who was embarrassed in the Wrestlemania 18
feud, where instead of feuding with Triple H directly, he was
getting
hand lotion for Stephanie and messing with Lucy the Dog (Triple H's
dog).
On a side note with Triple H, he was said to be boasting last night
on attending yesterday's agent creative meeting for RAW. Before,
wrestlers were barred from the meetings, as a provision that Steve
Austin pushed for, saying that no wrestler should attend those. Now
that Austin's gone, Triple H has snuck back into the meetings,
upsetting many.
X-Pac is actually on a Leave of Absence, as it was stated on RAW
yesterday. Management has had enough of X-Pac backstage, as he has
been complaining about the nWo's direction and he has been avoiding
doing television jobs, thanks to influence from Kevin Nash
backstage.
Nash is gone, nWo has been destroyed, and the WWE sent X-Pac home
for
a while.
