Re: Y2J Speaks The F'n Truth!

I think what Jericho said needed to be said. Some of my fellow
internet speakers are far too negative when it comes to the WWE
product. I know some may consider me to be one of the many marks out
there, but I do not personally think I should be grouped with them.
Why? When something in the WWE bothers me, I mention it but I also
back it up. I also really do LOVE the WWE! I don't like the
direction the company had been moving until recently, since
Judgement Day I think business has been picking up. I am enjoying
the Undertaker as champion, I'm enjoying the work of Chris Jericho
and Rob Van Dam (among others) more so now than I have in a long
time, and its great to see the Cruiserweights and Women's Division
get a strong push. Sure, I could always bitch about the Hardcore
Championship or the measly pushes that some of my favorite stars
get, but that I'm really sick of complaining all the time. Oh, and
it helps that Steve Austin is gone because he truly was annoying the
hell out of me and I think he really was hurting the WWE more than
he could help it. His work had become stale, he was screwing up
angles, and his 20 minute "what" promos were inspiring me to see
what was happening on Angel, over at the WB. The WB, for crying out
loud!! Anyways, I think King of the Ring was a great PPV with NO BAD
MATCHES ANYWHERE ON THE SHOW!! I might also add, that I think Brock
Lesnar is going to turn out to be either another Mabel (wins King of
The Ring to get huge push only to have the WWE learn of their
mistake and depush the guy) or to be another Big Show (wins the WWE
Championship for a brief, forgettable reign because the WWE realize
that Lesnar gets a very small reaction from the crowd, Steven
Richards gets more heat than this guy). Yes, I think Brock Lesnar is
a great athlete but so far he is not over and the WWE should have
thought twice about making him the King of The Ring. Maybe one day
Lesnar will prove me wrong, but until then I think Rob Van Dam
should have won. If you want to see what I mean, go watch the Brock
Lesnar vs Test match from the King of the Ring. It was heel vs heel,
with the crowd behind (and popping for) Test. When Lesnar won, the
crowd was silent. No boos, no cheers, nothing. Even Perry Saturn was
getting bigger reactions during his "Moppy" angle.

I think Lesnar is about as good of a wrestler as you will find in the WWe. He brings power, quickness, and wrestling knowledge. I think he will get over some...
