Well, I had a really good time at the show.

I walked in in the final minutes of a six man tag consisting of the
students. Didn't really see any of the match since I was
concentrating on finding seats. We ended up sitting right by the
entrance, which was cool, though I was three seats in so I couldn't
stick my arm out for high fives.

Shane Hagadorn defeated Pelle Primeau in the top of the class trophy
match. It was a pretty clean, decent little match, with Hagadorn
using brass knuckles to win.

Nigel McGuinness came out and revealed his opponent to be none other
than John Walters! They put on a really good opener, probably about
***1/4 or so. McGuinness won, but afterwards he put Walters over big
on the mic.

Mercedes Martinez defeated Daizee Haize in a short match. I was
impressed by both women, they really put the WWE women's division to
shame (which isn't hard by any stretch, but still). Afterwards,
Lacey came out and belittled Daizee.

Christopher Daniels defeated Chris Hero in a really good match (so
there). Great crowd heat for the match, and both men were on top of
their games. Hero made my girlfriend laugh out loud with his antics,
before getting slapped by Daniels. Just a really fun match, probably
about ***1/4 once again.

Immediately afterwards, Matt Sydal defeated Claudio Castagnoli in
another good little match. What I mostly remember from this one is
Sydal flying all over the place, really catching Castagnoli off
guard. Sydal won with the shooting star press, another match in the
*** area.

Next was the six man war pitting Homicide, Samoa Joe, and BJ Whitmer
against Steve Corino and the Briscoes. Right before this match
started, they announced that several of the fans were parked
illegally on Logan Street and needed to move their cars, so the
arena emptied out for a little bit. The match was an intense brawl,
though it took place at ringside for several minutes, so it was hard
to see and keep track of everything. It didn't get as violent as I
had predicted, but I'm sure Homicide and Corino are going to tear
the house down tonight in Philadelphia.

Intermission, I took advantage of the Buy Three, Get One Free deal.

Colt Cabana defeated Jimmy Rave in a fun little match. Nothing
special here, except the personalities of both Rave and Cabana
clashing. Cabana won with a reverse Boston Crab, good times.

Bryan Danielson defeated Delirious to retain the ROH Championship.
I'll admit, I was expecting a lot more from this one than what we
got. It was very technically sound, it just never really got going.
It was also far shorter than I would have expected. This was a case
where no one knew Delirious would win the title, but I think the
fans really wanted them to put on a match that would make it seem
possible, and they didn't quite go for that. I'd say it was about
**1/2 or so.

The main event was KENTA and Davey Richards coming up short against
Austin Aries and Roderick Strong. All I can say is that they stiffed
the SHIT out of each other. Awesome main event, with lots of big
moves, delivered very crisply, and Davey Richards came out of this
looking like a star. Aries ended up pinning KENTA with the 450
Splash, I think this one is about ****1/2 or so.

It was well worth the trip. They are scheduled to come back in
January, though I'm not sure if I'm going to feel like driving to
Boston in the snow.
