Hang in there ! Pretty soon they'll tire of beating the same dead pony ! I
know what you're talking about with the Maddux comparison. If one would
compare their numbers they aren't exactly tearing up the league, this year.
The biggest thing is the fact that Maddux is a time proven commodity, and in
a way, so is Lopez. They're just on opposite ends of the scale. I probably
shouldn't have come down so hard on Lopez, but I was frustrated. I see the
purchase of Lopez as a waste of money, and never understood it. There were
several middle tier type guys they could've taken a flyer on.
