First Summer Run: Green Deer Creek Nature Area, Suzhou

Description

Nestled amid the leafy verdant foothills of Suzhou, this month¡¯s course offers spectacular scenery, winding through charming tea plantations, scaling the dark towers of thousand year old temples, frolicking through pristine meadows among bright summer daffodils, navigating the dark hallows of deep primeval forests, and meandering along spring-fed steams bustling with live trout.  The bees are buzzing and the birds are singing with the call of nature as we transition from spring to summer.   Bring your sunblock for the run and your libido for the bash!

Date: Saturday, May 26th
Location: Suzhou Green Deer Nature Reserve

Time: Run starts at 2:30pm, circle by 5:00pm, bash by 6:30pm, leave by 8:00pm, back to Shanghai by 9:30pm.

11:00am Pudong, Lujiazui, Information Tower, across the street from the first bus stop on Century Blvd. after leaving the Yan'an tunnel.
11:00am Puxi, Portman Ritz Carlton, 1376 Nanjing Xi Road, meet outside by the Starbucks
11:30am Hongqiao, The Grassy Knoll, on Yannan Road at the intersection of Hongxu Road.
