Taiping Hash: October 21

The Taiping Hash anniversary runs keep getting bigger and better.

This month, we're off to Nanbeihu in Zhejiang province for our sixth
anniversary run.

The GM and DVD Pirate will set a run through the hills and along the
lakes by Hangzhou Bay. Here's the location: www.nbh.com.cn

The scenery should be stunning with the rice stalks at a golden
brown and ready for harvest. The mandarin oranges will also be in
season. The abundance of nature's bounty also features grapefruit,
mulberry (what silkworms eat), dates, plums, cotton, tea, bamboo,
and a few pine trees on top of the hills.

We plan to bash outside by the lake. Bring a jacket.

The run is A-B. There will be a long/short split.

If you want to crash the night before and/or after the run, there
are cheap places to stay in the park, as well as a few somewhat
respectable hotels. Check the park website for listings.

As always, please reply to jeffreypwilson2002@... to confirm
so we can determine the number of buses needed and arrange for the
bash. Please reply by October 19.

Location: Nanbeihu, Zhejiang

Time: We estimate the run will start by 1 p.m. We plan to start the
bash by 5 p.m., leave by 7 p.m., and be back in Hongqiao by 9 p.m.

10:00 a.m. Pudong, Jinqiao Starbucks, 633 Biyun Road, by Carrefour
10:25 a.m. Pudong, Lujiazui, Information Tower, the last bus stop on
Century Blvd. before the Yan'an tunnel.
10:30 a.m Puxi, Portman Ritz Carlton, 1376 Nanjing Xi Road, meet
outside by the Starbucks
10:45 a.m. Hongqiao, The Grassy Knoll, Yan'an Road by Hongxu Road
