Taiping Hash: August 19, Suzhou Stone Lake
Camel and Catch-of-the-Day lead us on the ultimate summer-time run
in the scenic Suzhou countryside, only a 90-minute bus ride from
Shanghai.
The run will follow the hills surrounding Stone Lake, with
spectacular panoramic views. For more details about the place, see
here: www.shihu.com.cn/jy.htm; and here,
www.china.org.cn/english/features/woeld_heritage/99264.htm.
There will be a long / short split, so both runners and walkers
should finish in a little over an hour. The run is A to B and will
finish on the shady, tree-lined shores of Stone Lake.
As always, please reply to jeffreypwilson2002@... to confirm
so we can determine the number of buses and the bash reservation.
