Taiping Hash—March 25

This month, it's a run through the Orange Blossoms on Xishan Island.

BEC and Trailer Park Redneck, another refugee from the renegade
province, take us to the island, which is the middle of Taihu Lake.
That's the huge lake that is just south of Suzhou and Wuxi. Take a

Domestic Violence has promised to arrange an "ethnic" bash. Not
clear what that means.

Runners should finish in 90-120 minutes. Walkers should be able to
finish in less than 3 hours.

As always, please RSVP if you plan to come so we know how many buses
we need.

The Details:

Date: Saturday, March 25

Location: Xishan, Jiangsu province

Time: We estimate the run will start by 1:00 p.m. We plan to start
the bash by 5 p.m., leave by 7 p.m., and be back in Shanghai by 9:30
p.m. Of course, actual results may vary.

Times for the buses:

10:00 a.m. Pudong, Jinqiao Starbucks, 633 Biyun Road, by Carrefour
10:25 a.m. Pudong, Lujiazui, Information Tower, the last bus stop on
Century Blvd. before the Yan'an tunnel.
10:30 a.m. Puxi, Portman Ritz Carlton, 1376 Nanjing Xi Road, meet
outside by the Starbucks
10:45 a.m. Hongqiao, The Grassy Knoll, Yan'an Road by Hongxu Road

Cost: Around RMB120, hopefully less.

Bash: Maybe outside next to the lake.
