Taiping Hash, November 19

This month, the Taiping Hash is headed to Dragon Cove Tea Village,
which is also called Long Wu Tea Village. The run site is just off
the Hangzhou Ring Road, west of Hangzhou.

This run features, obviously, lots of tea fields. This time of year
the tea plants are blooming with their white flowers. Rather scenic.
The bash site is overlooking the tea plantations.

Take a look here: http://www.meijiawu.com/Special_News.asp?

The bus ride is 205 K from The Grassy Knoll, of which 202 K are on
the freeway. We should be able to get to the run site in well under
three hours.

As always on the Taiping Hash, we expect sunshine and warm
temperatures on the day of the run. If, however, it rains, the trail
will be quite muddy. We warned you.

The run site is at most 30 minutes from West Lake in Hangzhou. You
can take the train and a taxi to get to the run site. Also, there are
many small, cheap guesthouses in the village if you want to stay the
night before or after the run. Please email if you need more
information.

There is only one trail and it is A-B. FRBs should be about 1 hour 15
minutes. Everyone else should be able to finish in under two hours.

As always, please RSVP if you plan to come.

And if you plan to go on the Dec. 2-4 trip to Fujian, please sign up.
We will be pleased to take your run fee of RMB800 at the November 19
run.
