Taiping Hash--Upcoming Runs
Before we get to the notices about the upcoming runs, Austin Powers
has issued an urgent appeal to recover the jacket he left on the bus
after the last run. If anyone is willing to admit that they took it,
please let us know so we can return it to him.
Also, please let us know if you want to be a hare. We are thinking
about continuing to have runs through the bleak, cold winter months.
But we need more hares.
November 19, Meijiawu Village, Zhejiang Province
This run will be through tea plantations and the hills west of
Hangzhou. The run site is only 2 k off the Hangzhou Ring Road.
Photos of the area can be seen here:

The hares are the GM and a mystery co-hare.
We're planning to book only one bus this time. So, please respond by
email if you are interested in going. Of course, more details later.
Dec 2-4, Fujian Province
This is a joint run of the Taiping, Boxer, Free China, China, and
Taipei hashes. In other words, hashers will also be there from Hong
Kong, Beijing, and Taiwan.
Announcements in Chinese and English have been sent separately.
We will try to book roundtrip air tickets from Shanghai. We estimate
that the tickets will cost somewhere around RMB1,100 per person.
If you are interested in going, please confirm by email. You can pay
at the November 19 run, or to the GM at the Jin Mao Tower, or to
Laurie at the Portman, or to Jean somewhere in Thailand.
Dec. 16, Shanghai
We're thinking about doing a joint Taiping-Full Moon run for
Christmas on Friday night in the French Concession. More details
later.
