Taiping Hash, October 22
Virgin trails and a (relatively) short bus ride. This month, we are
headed to Yu Hill National Forest Park, which is outside the town of
Changshu in Jiangsu province.
The run site has tea plantations, waterfalls, temples, bamboo
forests, an old village, and some large hills. Take a look here:
www.yushan.net/
The bus ride should be under two hours from Shanghai. The quick trip
is made possible by taking the new freeway that goes northwest out of
Shanghai past Jiading and the Formula 1 racetrack.
Taking advantage of cooler fall weather, the trail will be longer
than our past few runs. Runners should finish in 90-120 minutes.
Walkers should be able to finish in under 3 hours. There is only one
trail and it is A-B.
As always, please RSVP if you plan to come.
