Taiping Hash, Saturday, September 3
This month, we will do our best impression of ¡°Crouching Tiger,
Hidden Dragon¡± as we soar through the bamboo in Zhejiang Province.
Tea plantations, lakes, a Ming Dynasty temple, huge bamboo forests
and ample quantities of Siwo beer await us in Dongming Forest Park,
which is northwest of Hangzhou. Here is what the place looks like:

Depending upon the weather and the moods of the hares, there may be a
short run split. In any event, everyone should be able to finish in
around two hours.
We are limiting the number of people to two big buses. By all means,
please RSVP if you plan to come. Every seat was full last month.
Please also RSVP if you plan to take your own transportation to the
run site and/or you need to take the bus only one way.
There are cabins and a hotel in the park if you want to stay there
before or after the run. The cabins are fairly pleasant, when they
have water. It is possible to take a taxi from Hangzhou to the park.
Going the other way may be a bit of a problem. If you want to book a
room, call (0571) 88797100.
