Taiping Hash, January 19
This month, the Taiping Hash is headed to the lovely mountains of
Suzhou at the Mudu Mountain Conservation Park.
The three female virgin hares promise to deliver a day of true
variety, with stunning views of Mudu Valley and Taihu Lake, exotic
pagodas, traditional villages, tea plantations, and a mixture of
shiggy and dirt trails.
The bus ride is allegedly a mere 75 minutes from Hongqiao.
The run is a short 11K, so there will not be a long/short split. FRBs
should finish in approximately 75 minutes and walkers should finish
in about 2 hours.
The upscale bash will be at the recently-opened Lakeview Restaurant,
which features traditional Suzhou cuisine at reasonable prices.

By popular demand, Sophy is again handling reservations. Please
respond to her directly at sophy.cheng@... if you want to go
so we can figure out if we take one bus or two.
And, of course, the run is on even if there is sun, rain, fog, sleet,
snow, hail, or a typhoon.
