After last month's ambitious run in Hangzhou, we decided this month
to do a shorter run that is a bit closer to town.
This month, Jean and David take us to Xishan Island for a run on
virgin trails through picturesque villages and peach orchards, with a
few moderate hills thrown in for good measure. The run will be about
an hour with walkers able to finish in about 90 minutes. We guarantee
it.
Xishan Island is located in Lake Taihu. Getting there is roughly like
going to Suzhou and taking a left. In other words, not that far away
from Shanghai. A new road will speed us there and back in record
time, or so Jean says.
Here are some views of where we are going: www.xishanfengjing.com/
