Taiping Hash, October 13
This month, the Taiping Hash is headed to Meijawu Tea Village. The
run site is just off the Hangzhou Ring Road, west of Hangzhou.
This run features, obviously, lots of tea fields. Take a look here:
http://www.meijiawu.com/. This is the same area we went to in
November 2005.
The bash site overlooks the tea plantations.
The bus ride is 205 K from The Grassy Knoll, of which 202 K are on
the freeway. We should be able to get to the run site in under three
hours.
The run site is at most 30 minutes from West Lake in Hangzhou. You
can take the train and a taxi to get to the run site. Also, there are
many small, cheap guesthouses in the village if you want to stay the
night before or after the run.
As always, please RSVP to sophy.cheng@... so we can figure
out the number of buses we need.
