The Taiping Hash joins with the Suzhou branch of the Helsinki Hash for a run near Taihu Lake. What¡¯s in store is a fantastic run over small hills with stunning views of the lake.

As it is summer, the run will be a maximum of 75 minutes (especially since the hares don't want to get caught).

 

We¡¯ll have an epic bash place with a floating restaurant and spectacular panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

The bus trip is allegedly only 90 minutes from Hongqiao. Don¡¯t count on it.

In order to speed our departure from Shanghai, we strongly encourage Puxi people to get on the bus at Hongqiao. That way, we can send the Pudong bus straight to Hongqiao without stopping at the Portman.

The Details:

Date: Saturday, August 25

Location: Taihu Eastern Mountain Scenic Zone, close to Suzhou, Jiangsu province

Time: We estimate the run will start by 1:15 p.m. We plan to start the bash by 5 p.m., leave by 7 p.m., and be back in Shanghai by 10 p.m. Of course, actual results may vary.

10:00 a.m. Pudong, Jinqiao Starbucks, 633 Biyun Road, by Carrefour
10:25 a.m. Pudong, Lujiazui, Information Tower, the last bus stop on Century Blvd. before the Yan'an tunnel.
10:30 a.m. Puxi, Portman Ritz Carlton, 1376 Nanjing Xi Road, meet outside by the Starbucks
10:45 a.m. Hongqiao, The Grassy Knoll, Yan'an Road by Hongxu Road

Hares: Lasse Viren, King Piss, Queen Piss and Artsy Fartsy
