Taiping Hash: July 28: Changshu IV

Not yet having covered every square inch of Yu Hill National Forest Park, we head back to Changshu.

The newest installment in the Changshu saga sees a slight change of characters. Contractual commitments prevent Austin Powers from a role in this year¡¯s version. He is apparently in Tianjin working on another project. However, Shagga is back for his fourth run up the mountain, and this time will be aided by Plug the Dykes.

In order to speed our departure from Shanghai, we strongly encourage Puxi people to get on the bus at Hongqiao. That way, we can send the Pudong bus straight to Hongqiao without stopping at the Portman.

The Details:

Date: Saturday, July 28

Location: Yu Hill National Forest Park, Changshu, Jiangsu province

Time: We estimate the run will start by 1:15 p.m. We plan to start the bash by 5 p.m., leave by 7 p.m., and be back in Shanghai by 10 p.m. Of course, actual results may vary.

10:00 a.m. Pudong, Jinqiao Starbucks, 633 Biyun Road, by Carrefour
10:25 a.m. Pudong, Lujiazui, Information Tower, the last bus stop on Century Blvd. before the Yan'an tunnel.
10:30 a.m. Puxi, Portman Ritz Carlton, 1376 Nanjing Xi Road, meet outside by the Starbucks
10:45 a.m. Hongqiao, The Grassy Knoll, Yan'an Road by Hongxu Road

Hares:  Shagga, Plug the Dykes

Cost: Around RMB150.
