October will be another great month of cycling here in Chico! The weather is getting a little bit cooler, the leaves are changing colors, the daylight hours are growing shorter. BUT, the cycling goes on! There are quite a few events going on this month.......as listed below:

Meet where 5th Street turns into River Road at 6:00pm(show up a little early to get signed up) for this 10-mile practice time trial for the Jack & Jill Teams only. We'll be meeting in the back room at Mountain Mike's Pizza(the one located at 5th and Walnut/Nord) - everyone is welcome! We'll be doing our annual clothing fitting from John & Linda Elgart from Voler Cycling Clothing - getting fitted for our team cycling kits for next season. Clothing orders will be taken - but will not be sent in to Voler until October 26th. Also, our very own Michael Crumm took some great video of the Chico Criterium - we'll be showing that as well at the meeting! Pizza, beer, cycling - a great combo!
