As many of you know, the city council recently voted to remove the disc golf course from upper park.  You can bet that the crowd that took aim at disc golf will be taking aim at mountain biking next.  If we as cyclist let the city council arbitrarily strip any form of recreation from upper park, we may as well bid farewell to riding in the park. 

There is a referendum being circulated around town to force the city council to reconsider.  If you live inside the city limits and you are registered to vote please be sure you sign the referendum.  10,000 signatures are needed by December 18th.  You can sign the referendum at the following locations:

-Saturday all day in front of Safeway on Mangrove.
-Saturday from 9-11am at the Toys for Tots drive at city hall.
-Sports LTD.
- Solutions Cubed, LLC (closed weekends) 256 East First Street, downtown Chico
-*The Grad - Monday Night Football
Monday, December 8th 4PM-7PM*
344 West 8th Street (Corner of 8th Street & Normal Street)
