Having problems with message search?
So as not to interfere with the Chico Duathlon and the fundraising needed for our two local high schools(including my alma mater!), we are changing the date of the Forest Ranch Hill Climb Time Trial to Saturday, September 27th.
What this means is.......you have no excuses!!! Get out there and give the Duathlon a go - this is a GREAT event for a GREAT cause. You TT folks out there - if you don't want to run, find a runner and get a relay team going!!!

I hope you have heard by now that there is another fun event to add to your calendar.
This fundraiser is near and dear to my heart as I have a freshman that started his first day of PV High Today !!!
As you know, the Chico Unified budget cuts have left our school sport programs drastically underfunded and there is serious talk of eliminating all freshman sports from CUSD and many other athletics from our schools.
Keeping our kids active and in sports will keep them healthy and out of trouble.
Sooooo.....please help support the CHICO DUATHLON AND 5K RUN. http://chicoactive.homestead.com/ You can support this event in many ways, such as sponsor a high school student to participate, make a donation to PV or Chico High Sports Boosters, volunteer, or my personal favorite, participate in the event. If you are not a runner, let me know and I will set you up with one of the many fast runners from Chico or PV high cross country and track teams. Have fun......that's what it is all about!
All proceeds from this event will be split between Chico High School and Pleasant Valley High School sports boosters programs (I,myself am on the PV booster board) .
ADDED FUN!!!! Any individual or relay team. that has a verified time for the duathlon event
of / or under : 1 hour and 15 minutes ( 75 minutes)... heck, I'll buy you a case of beer. You must be 21!!!! ( ask for a special number and starting position prior to race)
