The Bicycle Advisory Committee! Yeah, I didn't know Chico had one of those
either......until a few months ago. But, yes, they do have one. And if you'd
like to attend a Bicycle Advisory Committee meeting, their next meeting will be
held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Chico City
Council Chamber Building - 421 Main Street, Conference Room #1. This Meeting's
Agenda is as follows:

1. Direction and discussion of the 2007 City of Chico Bicycle Plan - The
Committee and community will be provided with an opportunity to further provide
input on updates to the City of Chico bicycle plan. Review, discuss and provide
comments to staff.

2. Update on the City of Chico Bicycle Map - The Committee and community will
be
presented with a draft of the City of Chico bicycle map. Review, discuss and
provide comments to staff.

3. Business from the Floor - A member of the general public may address the
Committee on any matter not appearing on the agenda which is of interest to
such
person and which is within the jurisdiction of the Committee. Where a member of
the general public seeks to address the Committee under Business From the
Floor,
the Committee may ask questions of such person but may not discuss the matter
unless and until the matter is included on a posted agenda at a subsequet
meeting, or one of the above determination is made.
