The public is invited to review and comment on the Draft Chico Area Bicycle Map currently being developed by the Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG). The draft represents progress completed thru January 2008. Current work efforts that will be incorporated in the next draft map update by BCAG will include:

1.  Additional street names

2.  Connectivity between established routes

3.  Cleanup of CSUC campus map inset with larger labels

4.  Additional land marks, bridges, shopping centers and labeling

5.  Development of the Index

6.  Connectivity thru Bidwell Park

7.  Safety information / riders guide information to be placed on the back side and back cover

8.  Photos representing key areas to give perspective

9.  Enlargement of back side of map showing Lower and Upper Bidwell Park for increased clarity

The public is encouraged to provide input into the development process.  Comments and suggestions should be directed to Mr. Iván García, Programming Manager at BCAG by e-mail at igarcia@... or by phone at 530-879-2468 by February 8, 2008.
