Hi Everyone! So, this Saturday - October 18th - the Chico Velo Cycling Club will be participating in the annual Butte Creek Canyon Clean-up (folks from many different groups come out to this one) - in particular, Chico Velo concentrates on getting the garbage off of our beloved Honey Run Road.......one of the most classic climbs in the area. And, obviously, the more folks we have to help, the faster the job goes.....and the cleaner Honey Run gets!! PLEASE volunteer for this worthy event - even if you can only work for an hour or so, that is extremely appreciated! I will be at the Honey Run Covered Bridge at 9:00AM with a U-Haul truck(to load up all the garbage).......and if you happen to have a truck we can put some junk/garbage in, please bring it! There will be a huge dumpster at the Covered Bridge which we will dump everything into. Let's work together to keep one of our best climbs clean!!
