September 16, 2008 (Chico, CA) --Chico AirFest organizers are encouraging the public to cycle out to Chico AirFest, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, September 26-27, 2008 at the Chico Municipal Airport. Gates open at 2:00 p.m. Friday, and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Cyclists are encouraged to take the bike path all the way to the airport (easy access behind the Chico Nut facility off of the Esplanade) and follow the signs to the Valet Parking area near the Sub Station, organized and staffed by the Butte Bicycle Coalition .  Park your bike, pick up a coupon for a free bottle of water and enjoy the air show!  Valet service will be available both Friday and Saturday.  Also - new this year - Kleen Kanteen will be offering FREE FILTERED WATER for those who bring in their own water bottle.
