Hey Gang -
This Sunday, July 4th there's a run in Lincoln Park to benefit the
American Heart Association. Details and registration here;
www.allamericanrun.com
7:30 am / $25 registration fee
Choose between a 5K or 10 mile option. Picnic lunch afterwards. If
you don't want to run, but want to join the picnic/festivities
afterwards, tickets will be available, so gimme a holler.
Too Loose
(847) 912-2402
Hey Gang!
After you've called in SICK on Friday and have recovered from
RearLoader's hot-tubbin' drinkfest, cum on out to run by the light
of the FULL MOON at the hash on Friday night.
Details here; www.chicagofourth.com/chmnhsh/
Because it's a weekend/holiday night, this will be a TWO BEER STOP
trail with special July 4th festivities in store.
Possible On-On After at Too Loose's apt. (we'll decide at the On
After bar - call if joining us later (847) 912-2402). No, I don't
have a roofdeck but do have cold beer to get rid of as well as
nearly $200 worth of fireworks to set off - I hate running from the
cops alone.....
See You Friday!
On On!
TLtS
(847) 912-2402
"My Suggestion.....Friday is a SICK DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
or let me know if you want to join the army because friday is a "Training
Holiday"
(1) Big thanks to Rear Loader for donating his yard and pool to the hash
for ThirstDay Summer Fest!! Also, great trail last night by you and VH, a
little short (for real), but it was fun.
(2) Also, Great Big Thanks to all that brought out many virgins to the hash
last night. Let's try to get that many a week for the rest of the summer!!!
A large group of us stayed at The Keg till after midnight and had a blast.
Hopefully we can continue to bring out new blood and pick things back up.
There will be some great R&R events coming up in the next month so keep
looking to see if you want to help us help you. The CH3 Team shirts are
still available, see Virgin Banger or Milk My Yak for to get one for
yourself.
(3) If you are interested in singing longer hash songs after the down down,
as many of you pointed out that you were, please let us know. Last Monday
we sang about 20 songs with our visiting hasher "Puke" from Houston
(pronounced you-stun, haha). It was a great time for all that were there.
There are tons of great songs that are easy to learn. If you have a
favorite that you would like to sing, or would like to learn, please send an
email and we will add it to the hareline to sing at the next run. That goes
for down down songs too, we only sing about 10 of the over 1,000 that are
out there.
OnOn to summer hopefully getting here soon

Anything fun going on next weekend? Anybody up for a short road
trip? I finally have a weekend off. Might be willing to drive
depending on location. Maybe Michigan, Indiana? cP
This Thursday is one not to miss. We will have a short trail that leads to the Thirsday SummerFest. There will be not just one, but 2 gas powered grills fired up for hashers. We will provide some grub (meat and veggies) but you can feel free to bring a salad or chips to share. There will be plenty o' beer for all you party animals and water for those that like the low octane stuff.
To top it off, there is a 60 foot 6 foot deep swimming pool complete with a steam room and sauna for those that just want to relax with a cold one. Girls break out those bikinis and guys....leave those speedos at home. And to make this even better.....if the weather sucks....The pool is INDOORS!
My Suggestion.....Friday is a SICK DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The night of July 10th, morning of the 11th will be this years

Well, I don't know how to read the messages, but I can post one.
Next Sunday, June 27th at Ravinia is Itzak Perlman doing something
symphony-like. It is usually really nice at Ravinia, sitting in the
lawn, picnicing, drinking wine and being mellow, ... really!
So, if you would like to join me and maybe a few others (those
willing to show their cultured side), contact me at 773-645-1212.
The concert (I believe) starts at 7 or 8, but getting there early is
the fun part. We can either tranport via the metra or car pool. The
cost is $10 to $15 for lawn seats and you can bring in your own
food/wine.

Hey Gang -
Here's some preliminary information about Madam Yuk's luau hash in
St. Louie. It's gonna be TONS of FUN!!! And not too bad a road
trip....
TLtS
**************************************************
Saturday, July 24
Get Leid at Madam Yuk's 2 Annual Luau!
Hash Location and On-After:
Madam Yuk's House of Ill Repute, right by the Delmar Loop
6045 Waterman Blvd
Detailed directions forthcoming.
Dust off your grass skirts and coconut boobs! Expect a 3-4 mile
trail
with multiple beer stops.
Yuk's cooking the traditional island cuisine as well as
vegan/vegetarian
delicacies.
Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed Hula Girl/Guy.
What? You don't have a fake grass skirt? You can either buy one at
a
party store or order your own from Oriental Trading Company.
http://www.orientaltrading.com
There are discounts for ordering in bulk. Yuk will be placing the
order
the first week in July.
Note: These things are pretty cheap, and most skirts/coconut boobs
need
adjustments for optimum fit and comfort.
Yuk will help you if you need it.
All are welcome to spend the night. There is bed space for 9
hashers. And
yes, Yuk will feed you breakfast too.
RSVP's are MANDATORY, as it would Horrify Yuk to run out of food,
beer,
leis, goodies, etc.
Not as horrifying, but quite annoying, would to have too much of the
above
(okay, not the beer).
Hey Kids -
This hash over Labor Day weekend in beautiful Winter Park, CO is
gonna be AWESOME!!!! Details here;
http://harrier.net/invihash/index.html
Round trip flights from Chicago to Denver are currently running less
than 170 bucks which is amazing!
So grab your hashing shoes, your favorite beer mug, and your
mountain bike if you're interested in "real" riding, and LET'S GO!!!

HASHERS!!!
The 2004 L.A.T.E. Ride is just around the corner, "Are They Real"
passed out a few flyers at the last run. I will have more rego's at
the upcumming runs and will be collecting the cash (well check or
cash and I can pay for them all at once) but you will need to sign
your own rego. We have to turn them all in together so we can be in
the same starting group because it is a staggerd start. There is a
prize for the biggest team and the team that raises the most money.
It is time not only to think of beer, but to think of creating parks
in low income areas that drug dealers can use to hook little kids on
crack, I mean so kids can enjoy what we had in our rich suburban
neighborhoods.
Here are the details in crayon:
What: L.A.T.E. Ride (that means it is at night)
Where: Starts at Buckingham Fountain rides through the city
When: 1:30am Saturday night/Sunday morning July 11, 2004
Why: To raise money for parks in poor neighborhoods
How much: $40
What do you get: Tshirt, goodie bag, snacks, and breakfast
Who: Give your registration and cash/chech to ROVER!!!
Need more info?? www.lateride.org
Rover's email: bendoverroverh3@...
DO NOT REGISTER ONLINE, YOU WILL NOT BE IN THE HASH GROUP IF YOU
DO!! WE WILL ALSO BE DOING SOME RECRUITING ON THE RIDE, WEAR YOUR
CH3 GEAR, WE WILL HAVE BUSINESS CARDS TO PASS OUT TOO =)
