Having problems with message search?
Surprisingly, the hash on Saturday and about a dozen non-hash friends I invited to the on-in put a good dent in one of the two kegs I bought for the Summer Saturday #2 Cubs / Sox Hash, and Fisty and Slippery's birthday party Saturday night killed it but still left the second and almost completely full keg for me to have to dump. Or text message a handful of hashers at 11am for some help. Amazingly, there were over a dozen folks over by 3pm on the Skydeck along with some food from Costco and at least FIVE more caess of BEER.
Chicken texted me suggesting a movie night but himself was apparently to busy watching soccer on TV somewhere as Team USA vs. Brazil engineered the most epic collapse since the Tacoma Narrows Bridge but the idea was unanimously sanctioned by all present so we setup the HD projector and PA sound system driven by Odor Eater hisself and had the first outdoor movie night on the Skydeck with the Chicago favorite "Blues Brothers".
Movie finished after 11pm and folks left in good spirits to get ready for Monday's hash at Burwood Tap (pix to follow).

Well I forgot when you serve people lots of FOOD they drink less beer so even after bringing the kegs from a lakefront party co-hosted with my friend Patty to Janna & Caroline's birthday party that night there was still the better part of a half barrel left over so with a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon, a Costco run for food and a few text message invites and impromptu party ensued, listening to the Cubs/Sox game on the radio and then seeing the Blues Brothers for the outdoor rooftop movie night of the 2009 season!
