The Chicago Rush recently released 4 players, 2 were contributers
from last year, Lineman Jerry Montgomery, DS Lincoln Dupree, OS
Robert Kilow, and QB Billy Dicken. The move to release Kilow and
Dupree surprised me because of team's need to replace star players at
both positions; OS Antonio Chatman, and DS Cedric Walker. Dicken's
release wasn't surprising after the signing of Raymond Philyaw from
Indiana.
Dupree spent last year on IR after suffering a knee injury during
training camp after having a great year for the af2 Peoria Pirates.
Montgomery was buried on the depth chart and didn't get much action.
Kilow play decent during the time he got at the beginning of the
season while Chatman was out with an injury. Dicken, who's baically
the only starting QB in Rush history holds nearly every team passing
record.
