The Rush recently signed WR/DB Donnie Caldwell and QB Raymond
Philyaw, both from the division rival Indiana Firebirds. Philyaw, who
signed a two year deal, brings more mobility and consistency to the
QB position. His stats over the last couple seasons are similar to
Dicken's except for a lot less interceptions. Caldwell brings a
solid defender to the secondary and will be counted on to help
replace the loss of Dameon Porter.
Dameon Porter recently signed a deal to play with the Georgia Force.
Porter, one of the original Rush players, holds team records for
picks in a season(12) and a career(26), as well as 2nd in team
history for career receiving yards(1,477) and TDs(33) behind Antonio
Chatman in both categories.
