The Rush recently traded away DS Cedric Walker to the expansion
Austin Wranglers for DS Kareem Larrimore, who was aquired from the
Dallas Desperados with the last pick in the expansion draft held
October 8th. He had 26.5 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 PBU's in 7
games last year, he had to miss the others with knee and back
injuries. This does seem like a questionable in the fact that
Larrimore has had drug problems in the past; he is still banned from
the NFL for substance abuse violations, but with the loss of OS
Antonio Chatman to the NFL's Packers the Rush felt they needed a
proven return man. Walker leaves the Rush with team records for
tackles in a game(13), season(98), and career(166.5) and is 4th on
the AFL's all time list with 470.
