This is the first of an annual watch of former Rush OS Antonio
Chatman in his attempt to make the Green Bay Packers. I have also
made a folder in the links section just for headlines about his
progress.
So far he has been impressive in training camp doing stuff we're used
to seeing, making plays as a kick returner and more recently as a
receiver. In camp he has started to get more reps with the offense
than he had previously been getting. right now is around 6th or 7th
on the WR depth chart and at the top of the return units.
Chatman saw his first action in the NFL in monday's Hall of Fame Game
and performed well. He had a couple nice returns, a 30 yard kick-off
return, and an 11 yard punt return with bad blocking where he made a
couple people miss that was called back for holding, officially it
went for 1 yard. He also had a nice catch over the middle for 9 yards
from 3rd string QB Craig Nall.
