Re: [cheverlybikeclub] HARVEST MARKET - This Saturday, 10/25

And if you are biking everywhere instead of driving your car, don't forget to move your vehicle at least once every 72 hours!

from

The Town considers a Vehicle to be Abandoned if it is found to be in Violation of one or more of the following:

·       Parked over 72 hours in the same location without moving. *
*(Not that we check every vehicle in the town all the time, but vehicles that remain
unmoved for long periods show various signs, including collection of dirt, leaves
and other debris on and around the vehicle. This does not mean that your vehicle
will be cited if you go on vacation, however it is a good idea to call the town and
   let us know)

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EMPTY PANNIERS WHEN YOU HEAD TO THE HARVEST MARKET!

Saturday, October 25
8:00 -- 11:00 a.m.
Cheverly Community Center
6401 Forest Avenue, Cheverly, MD
http://www.cheverly communitymarket. com

Don't miss the Harvest Market this Saturday, featuring PIES,
PUMPKINS, and ALPACAS, as well as the usual fresh seasonal produce,
breads, wines, oysters, and other harvest goodies. And, as always,
great music by talented local minstrels! This Saturday is also the
semi-annual flea market, so the Community Center is the place to be.

Mark your calendar now for the upcoming special holiday markets on
11/22 and 12/13! The Cheverly Community Market (CCM) will hold
extended hours markets in November and December. Saturday, November
22, will be a Thanksgiving Feast market from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
On December 13 we'll celebrate the holiday season with a market from
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., which will feature lots of great arts and
crafts for gift shopping as well as delicious holiday foods and
beverages. The November and December markets will be inside at the
Cheverly Community Center.

The markets will offer seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits, a
variety of meats, pastries and breads, coffees, cheeses, oysters,
Maryland wines, specialty flours and bread mixes, pies and cookies,
jams and preserves, chocolates, fair-trade goods, flowers and plants,
homemade soaps and lotions, fine crafts and creations made by local
artisans and artists, and more energizing entertainment by Cheverly's
own musicians, including the full Hot Noodle Band! Don't miss these
fun opportunities to get your shopping done while celebrating our
community and enjoying time with neighbors and friends.

Visit the CCM website for the full list of vendors on the Thursday
before each market. Also, sign-up for the market listserv, enjoy the
market blog, photos, recipes, and other resources for healthy eating
at: http://www.cheverly communitymarket. com.
