Whether you're a kid or just a big kid at heart, The Cheverly
Community Market will cater to you with our first KidMarket this
Saturday.

Skip, hop, or run on down to the Cheverly Community Center for face
painting, potato print making and other crafts, food demonstrations,
and tunes for kids and the young at heart. Local school and community
groups focused on Cheverly's children and families will be featured
in this market.

Of course, there will be lots of good local food. All the regular
vendors will be attending. Check our website at

highlights include:

VEGGIES: cherry tomatoes, beans, squash, zucchini, eggplant, big
tomatoes, red peppers, hot peppers, potatoes, cucumbers, and perhaps
peaches and corn.

FRUITS AND PLANTS: Asian pears, persimmon trees, gogi berries, and
prickly pear cactus as well as large fragrant, flowering plants, fall
hardy mums, and herbs in pots.

HONEY: Freshly harvested pots of honey, and honey sticks for the kids.

BEVERAGES: enjoy rooibus tea (a red tea) and blueberry iced teas.
Both will be slightly sweetened, caffeine-free, and full of
antioxidants and healthy alternatives to overly-sweetened fruit
juices.

CUPCAKES: Sylver Spoon is happy to offer a discount again on
pre-ordered cupcakes: $2.00 each with a 4 cupcake minimum. Same
flavors: red velvet, chocolate chunk, vanilla cupcakes with choice of
cream cheese, chocolate and vanilla buttercreams. The toppings bar
will include rainbow sprinkles, gummy worms, chopped nuts, coconut
