JAZZ ADDED TO APRIL 7TH DVD TAPING!

You, the fans, asked for her, and on Volumes 9 & 10 of the SHIMMER
DVD series, your request will be granted. The one and only JAZZ is
headed to SHIMMER on April 7th!

JAZZ - Height: 5'4" Weight: 140 lbs. New Orleans, LA. Debut: 1998.
One of the most accomplished American female wrestlers of the past 10
years, Jazz built her early reputation as a part of Extreme
Championship Wrestling. Holding her own in very physical bouts
against the men on the roster, Jazz quickly impressed fans and
wrestlers alike with her toughness and skill. With the closing of ECW
in 2001, Jazz was picked up by World Wrestling Entertainment, where
she captured the WWE Women's Title from Trish Stratus in February of
2002. She also enjoyed a second reign as champion which began in
April of 2003. During the second half of 2006, Jazz became a part of
the revived ECW brand in WWE.

The addition of Jazz to the SHIMMER roster provides a lot of exciting
match possibilities. Just what kind of an impact will Jazz have in
the SHIMMER ranks as part of the mix? Who will be the first wrestler
to step in the ring against Jazz in SHIMMER competition? These
questions will be answered on April 7th in Berwyn, IL!

Tickets for the April 7th taping go on sale THIS WEEKEND, with fans
who attend the All American Wrestling event on Saturday night (2/17)
at the Eagles Club in Berwyn getting first crack at tickets. They
will then go on sale online Sunday morning (2/18) via PayPal as well
as through mail order. Those who purchase tickets via mail order will
have their ticket request held until payment is received. We will
announce details concerning how to place ticket orders on Sunday
morning at www.shimmerwrestling.com.

Please note that two changes have been made from what was included in
the initial news releases concerning the April 7th taping. First,
we've moved bell time to 4pm, with doors opening at 3pm. This should
give everyone more time to get to Berwyn on the day of the event.
Also, due to the sheer costs involved in putting this huge event
together, general admission tickets will be $15 for this double DVD
taping. Front row reserved seating will also be available at $20.
Fans there live will witness well over a dozen live bouts, featuring
twenty of the top women athletes in pro wrestling today!

FULL DETAILS FOR 4/7 BERWYN, IL TAPING!

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES returns to live action on Saturday, April 7,
2007 with another huge double DVD taping at the Eagles Club (6309
26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. Bell time for the
taping is 4pm. Doors will open at 3pm. Volumes 9 & 10 of the SHIMMER
DVD series will be filmed during the course of the event!

Tickets for the 4/7 taping will go on sale on Saturday, February 17th
at the AAW event at the Eagles Club in Berwyn. Tickets will be made
available online (via PayPal) beginning on Sunday morning, February
18th. We will also be accepting advance ticket orders by mail at that
time. We will be offering a choice of either front row reserved
seating (tickets and seats will each be numbered) at $20, or the
usual general admission (rows 2 and back) at $15.

General admission seating will be on a first come, first served
basis, like in the past. The new front row reserved seating option
offers not only the benefit of having a front row seat to all the
action, but also gives those ticket holders the luxury of not having
to be in line early on the day of the show to get the best seat
possible. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of
the event, but those fans with tickets purchased in advance will be
admitted before any tickets are sold at the door on the day of the
show.

EDEN BLACK HEADED TO SHIMMER!

One of the hottest rising stars on the UK independent scene makes her
way to SHIMMER on April 7th, to appear on Volumes 9 & 10 of the
SHIMMER DVD series. "The Jezebel" EDEN BLACK is coming to SHIMMER!

"The Jezebel" EDEN BLACK - Height: 5'3" Weight: 117 lbs. Romford,
Essex, UK. Debut: May 2001. Fans chanting "Jez is gonna kill you" is
often heard during some of the best women's bouts currently held in
the UK. Eden Black has been dominant as women's champion of her home
promotion, Real Quality Wrestling, while also appearing for such
organizations as Irish Whip Wrestling and LDN. Jez worked her way
into the finals of the ChickFight 7 tournament during January of
2007, doing battle with several SHIMMER mainstays along the way,
including Cheerleader Melissa, Lacey, and Daizee Haze. Black was also
part of one of the first all women shows in the UK (just as the
resurgence of the UK women's scene was starting to develop), the IWF
Ladies Night Tournament in 2004 where she was a semi-finalist and was
eliminated by Lexie Fyfe.

Having wrestled all over the UK and Ireland, Eden Black has a heavy
Japanese influence in her style, patterning much of her repertoire
after KENTA, Mitsuharu Misawa, and Kenta Kobashi. Initially trained
at NWA-UK Hammerlock, Jez also looks to the style of such World of
Sport athletes as Johnny Saint and Steve Grey.

Black likes to put her opponents away with a triangle choke which she
calls the Garden of Eden. Additionally, she likes to utilize such
maneuvers as Blaxploitation (crucifix bomb), the Bajingo Driver
(Ghana-rhea), and Possession (wrist clutch exploder).

Wrapping a devastating comination of styles and maneuvers into one
explosive package, Eden Black is someone to be taken very seriously
in SHIMMER competition. "The Jezebel" is headed to the U.S. to make a
real impact in SHIMMER, and it begins on April 7th in Berwyn!

DEL REY & DANGER TRAINING SEMINAR IN PA!
----------------------------------------------------------

"The Dangerous Angels" Sara Del Rey & Allison Danger will be holding
a training seminar at the ROH school next week (with sessions
available on either 2/13, 2/14, or 2/15) for female wrestlers and
managers of any experience level who are looking to take their skills
to the next level. Both women have traveled all over the world and
bring a combined twelve years of experience to this seminar. Sara Del
Rey wil be teaching in-ring training, while Allison Danger will
provide classroom training. Participants will need to bring workout
clothes, wrestling shoes, gym shoes, a towel, water, a notebook/pen,
and a jump rope if possible. SHIMMER hopefuls are strongly encouraged
to participate in this seminar for in-person evaluation. Cost is only
$30. Pre-registration is required. Please contact AlliDanger@...
