NIKKI ROXX ISSUES OPEN CONTRACT FOR 10/22
----------------------------------------------------------

On the heels of a very memorable match against Amazing Kong on
SHIMMER Volume 5, Boston native Nikki Roxx has signed an open
contract for the 10/22 SHIMMER taping at the Eagles Club in Berwyn,
IL.

Nikki has made it clear to both SHIMMER management and the rest of
the roster that she wants more opportunities to prove herself
against the top talent, and work her way into main event matches.
Roxx, who has largely been relegated to undercard or mid-card bouts
thus far in her SHIMMER tenure, will take on any of the SHIMMER
women on 10/22 that are willing to sign the open contract, in an
effort to show that she can hang with those at the top of the card.

DEL REY & DANGER VS. NEIDHART & MELISSA SIGNED FOR 10/21

A huge SHIMMER Special Attraction tag team match will appear as part
of the All American Wrestling event on Saturday night, October 21st
at the Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL. Tickets to the
AAW show are $12 and will be available at the door on the night of
the show. Bell time is 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. We strongly
encourage SHIMMER fans to get there around 7pm to catch all the
action, as some of the SHIMMER athletes will be appearing during the
pre-show bouts.

On 10/21, the night before SHIMMER tapes Vols. 7 & 8 at the same
location in Berwyn, it will be the "American Angel" Sara Del Rey
teaming with Allison Danger to take on the duo of Cheerleader
Melissa and Nattie Neidhart! Don't miss your chance to see this
unique tag team encounter live and in person.

Plus, also in action on the AAW card will be Daizee Haze, LuFisto,
MsChif, and more SHIMMER stars!

The show will also feature Jimmy Jacobs vs. Ace Steel, Eric Priest
vs. Keith Walker, and much more from AAW.

REBECCA KNOX OUT INDEFINITELY WITH HEAD INJURY

Just days after the challenge was laid down by Daizee Haze to
Rebecca Knox for an Iron Woman Match at the upcoming 10/22 SHIMMER
taping, we've received word from Rebecca that she will be sidelined
indefinitely.

Knox suffered a head injury during a recent bout in Germany, which
has caused several complications, and hospital visits. Until further
notice, doctors have not cleared Rebecca for any sort of physical
activity, and especially wrestling. Knox posted the following on her
web site at http://www.rebeccaknox.net/ on Thursday morning...


hey all,

I am so sorry I have not been in touch in a while. I have been in
and out of hospital and have not been able to get access to the
internet in over a week.

I am very upset I have to write this email because I have to cancel
all future dates until December. I am not sure if you had heard
about the knock to the head I got in Germany a few weeks ago or not,
but I got a bad cut above the eye and it was stitched up and all
seemed fine. But after a few days I was getting extremely painful
headaches, loud buzzing in my left ear and my vision in my left eye
is completely blurred. The doctor has told me it may be damage to
the 8th cranial nerve and I am waiting for a ct brain scan and have
been advised to stop wrestling for the next few months. It could be
permanent or it could go away by itself. but until all signs have
been alleviated I will not be able to engage in any heavy physical
activity.

This breaks my heart as the main reason I am in Florida is to
wrestle and I am so upset that I have to cancel my upcoming dates,
This is the first serious injury I have had and I am disappointed
that I have to let you down!

I apologize sincerely and hope you have great shows, I am so sorry I
wont be there!

MARTINEZ vs. LUFISTO SIGNED FOR 10/22!

A first time ever matchup has been signed for the SHIMMER - WOMEN
ATHLETES taping on 10/22 in Berwyn, IL, pitting the "Latina
Sensation" Mercedes Martinez against "The First Lady of Hardcore"
LuFisto!

Mercedes Martinez made a huge impact in SHIMMER from the very
beginning on Volume 1 with a very physical, high impact 20 minute
draw against Sara Del Rey. Martinez and Del Rey had a brutal rematch
on Volume 5 as well, with the third match in the series promised to
follow at some point in the future.

Canadian star LuFisto makes her SHIMMER debut on Volume 7, and wants
to test herself against one of the hardest hitters on the roster in
her first outing. Known for her willingness to participate in a
variety of stipulation matches involving weapons, LuFisto is one of
the toughest female wrestlers to be found anywhere in the world. As
much as her body can absorb unbelivable amounts of punishment during
the course of a match, LuFisto can also dish it out.

Can LuFisto score a huge victory in her debut against one of the top
women on the U.S. independent circuit? We'll find out on 10/22 in
Berwyn!

TICKET RESERVATIONS NOW OPEN FOR 10/22 TAPING!

We are less than two weeks away from the return of live SHIMMER
action!

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES will hold its next DVD taping on Sunday,
October 22nd at the Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL
(just outside Chicago). Bell time is 2pm. Doors will open at 1pm.
Tickets are $10, and will be available at the door. Volumes 7 & 8 of
the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed during the course of the
event.

Since we are not selling tickets in advance, we are offering
reserved seating for the taping so that you can be guaranteed
tickets at the door on the day of the event. The Eagles Club can
seat approximately 250 fans for pro wrestling events. Those fans on
the Reserved List will not only be guaranteed seating on the chance
of a sellout, but will also be admitted into the venue first, to
grab the best seats possible (before fans who decide to attend at
the last minute are let in). We realize many of you are coming to
Berwyn from long distances, and we want to be sure that all of you
have a chance to check out the action live on 10/22.

To reserve your tickets for the taping, simply send an E-mail to

This SHIMMER taping will be part of two consecutive nights of pro

Vision Entertainment.
