For those new users who are unable to get the sound the chat room I
can suggest that you do one of two things.

The first is the easiest: Download Yahoo Messenger and then join a
user that you know is in the chat room.

The second requires some knowledge.

Firstly you have to download and install the microsoft version of
Java available here: http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/java/

Secondly you will have to find and install a copy of "microsoft
Virtual Machine." the older version.

Once you have installed these and completed the required reboots you
should open the "internet options" ( Internet Exploder under tools)
and select the advanced tag.

Check (tick) all the boxes under Microsoft VM and "apply"

Then close Internet Explorer (must be done) to apply the changes.

Next time you go to the chat page the sound applet should load and
you should have sound
