I just remembered I hadn't sent this out. No TKD or boxing today,
December 26th. We will have classes on the regular schedule on Friday,
December 28th. Hope everyone is having a great holiday!
Since the weather reports are not really sure how cold it's going to
get or what exactly will be falling by rush hour, it's probably safer
to cancel both boxing and tae for tonight.
There will be no classes during the Spring Break for Fairfax County
Schools, March 17 to March 21. Classes will resume at their regular
times the following week.
I know this is last minute, but Russell is now available to run the
boxing class tonight, Wednesday March 12th. So, if anyone is still
interested in tonight's boxing class, feel free to show up.
Tae Kwon Do will be held at it's regular time as planned.
Mark is planning the next belt test for Friday, April 25th. It will
probably start at the usual 5pm time, but there's a chance he will
decide to start a little earlier. Check for more messages or check
with Mark as the date gets closer to be sure you arrive early enough.
Boxers, please be aware that there is a test that night and enter
quietly if the test is still in progress when you arrive.
There will be no boxing class on Wednesday, April 30th. Class will
meet as scheduled on Friday. This does not affect Tae Kwon Do.
Russell apologizes for this, but his exam schedule is causing
conflicts. It's possible he could schedule a class on a weekend as a
make up day if people are interested. Let him know if you'd be
interested.
Because of the Homes Tour, the hall will not be available on Wednesday,
May 14th. Mark has scheduled a make up class for this coming Monday,
May 12th. Tae Kwon Do will begin at 5pm and end at 6pm sharp. Boxing
will begin at 6:05pm and end at 7:10pm sharp. The room will need to be
cleared and ready for Yoga to begin at 7:30pm.
Sorry for any inconvenience!
There will be no classes on Friday, July 4th
Boxing class will meet at 6:30pm on Monday, June 30th.
Tae Kwon Do and Boxing will both meet at their regular scheduled times
on Wednesday, July 2nd.
Please mark your calendars for these dates and times.
Have a safe and happy 4th of July!
Mark WILL have TKD class this week. Wednesday, July 30th and Friday,
August 1st, TKD class WILL meet at its regular time!
There will be no further TKD class for August. Mark will restart TKD
classes after the beginning of school. The next TKD class will be
September 10th. (the 2nd week of school)
Boxing classes will continue for most of that time although there will
be an announcement coming concerning one other closure there.
If anyone has questions concerning the schedule, please contact Mark at
mark@....
Mark will open on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving for anyone who
would like to practice TKD. He will NOT open for TKD on Friday.
Boxers, he'll be open on Wednesday. Check with him concerning Friday.
He hasn't decided yet.
Don't forget; tomorrow, Friday the 21st, is the TKD belt test. Anyone
testing should come prepared and wearing their complete uniform.
Boxers, if the test is still going on when you arrive, please wait
quietly for the end of the test.
Since so many people are planning to leave or be busy for the
Thanksgiving holiday, Mark has decided to cancel both boxing and TKD
for Wednesday the 26th and Friday the 28th.
Sorry for any confusion!
All TKD and Boxing classes are cancelled for today, Janaury 28th. In
general if FCPS closes, classes will cancel. Mark did check to see
what the parking lot is like at the Town Hall and it's covered in ice.
On Friday, March 13th there will be substitute teachers for both TKD and boxing.
Philip Broadbent will be teaching Tae Kwon Do and Rob will be covering the
boxing class.
Thanks!
The next TKD belt test will be held on Wednesday, April 1st. Please check with
Mark if you're not sure of the requirements for your next level. Sorry if this
post comes through twice. I tried to send it earlier and it's not come through.
TKD is cancelled until further notice. Mark has been sick for several days and
cannot hold classes at the moment. We'll let you know more as soon as we know
something.
Spencer will be deciding what to do about boxing, so if you're in the boxing
class, you can check with him.
Thanks,
Barb
Mark is planning to resume TKD in September after the start of the school year.
Anyone who is making automatic payments to CESTKD should stop them in the
interim. If you've already made a payment you can receive a refund. Just
contact Mark and give the address where you would like the check mailed. You
can reach Mark at sepentina@....
Mark is feeling better, but still very low on energy. He hopes that by
September he'll be more energetic.
